GET INVOLVED

Each one should use whatever gifts he has received to serve others,

faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

– 1 Peter 4:10

God has called us to serve Him by serving others. Serving can be in various forms – spending time with kids, working as a greeter, or even delivering a meal to someone in need. Serving doesn’t have to be hard. If we do all things with love, serving others is a joyful experience. Many people can find their purpose and develop their spiritual gifts through serving. Not only can it deepen our relationship with God but with other members of our community as well.

If you are interested in serving in any of our ministries, click the button below to fill in our volunteer form. We will reach out to you and get you started in on the path to serving here at River Bluff Church.
Children's Ministry

Ministry Leader: Katie Bobier

The Lord is on the move in children’s ministry! We are in need of more volunteers to help us meet the needs of the families who walk through the front doors, specifically in the toddler and preschool rooms. River Bluff Church is dedicated to making disciples – what better way to do that than by ministering to children and families!

Production Team

Ministry Leader: Contact the Office

Sound, livestream, photography, and slides are all part of the production team that helps our Sunday services run smoothly. If you are savvy with computers,  good with cameras, or have a good ear for sound and music, serving in the tech team would suit your skills. Even if you have little to no experience in using a sound board or livestream equipment but you’re interested in being trained up into the role, feel free to reach out to us. Here are our different tech team role descriptions:

Sound Tech

The sound person is in charge of the sound. That includes the equipment, atmospheric additions, such as music pads, pre and post service playlists, and mixing sound for worship. You will communicate with the worship leader to accommodate the technical needs of the worship team during the weekend you are serving.

Slides Person

The slides person will use ProPresenter to put relevant slides up during our Sunday services. ProPresenter is an easy program to learn and if you are are thinking about helping us do slides, we will have you shadow one of our current slides person on a Sunday so you know how it all works. You will only need to serve once every month.

Livestream Operator

The livestream operator will run our livestream system which includes controlling and switching cameras to produce a smooth video stream for our online viewing audience. This is suitable for people who have a good eye for video and camera angles. Training will be provided if you have no experience running livestream.

Ministry Leader: Contact the Office

Do you feel led to minister to young people? Are you are passionate about leading others to boldly go out and live out their faith in their everyday life? Are you looking to disciple our youths into a personal relationship with God in both large group and smaller relational environments? Youth Ministry is the place for you to pursue that passion. We are seeking volunteers to help as small groups leaders and youth worship leaders.

Worship Team

 Ministry Leader: Tim VanEijl

Calling all musicians and singers! If you are passionate about using your musical gifting to glorify and magnify the Lord, River Bluff Worship is always looking to add new ministers to their teams. Our audition process consists of a mixture of video and live interviews with the worship ministry leader. We are looking for worshipers; people who first and foremost have a passion for His Presence, as well as musical excellence and community.

Care Team

Ministry Leader: Contact the Office

Prayer Team

Ministry Leader: Pastor Kathy Young

If you are blessed with the passion and gift of prayer, there are various ways to be involved in prayer at River Bluff! We have many weekly prayer meetings. Sunday morning Altar Ministry is another possible way to be involved in praying for River Bluff Church visitors and members.

Ministry Leader: Contact the Office

By serving as part of the welcome team on Sunday mornings, you have the opportunity to make River Bluff Church’s first impression on our guest and visitors. Groups Ministry

Ministry Leader: Pastor Kathy Young

Leading a small group is a great way to make connections and grow your faith. We love having a variety of small groups available including ongoing community groups in homes, to short term topical classes, to social groups. We also welcome people who are interested in mentoring one or two people at a time. Group leaders meet monthly for Dinner and Discipleship to encourage one another to grow in friendships.

Buildings and Grounds

Ministry Leader: Contact the Office

The grounds around the church are the first thing that visitors and guests notice when they come to River Bluff. The field behind our church is used for many events and weekly by our youth group. If you are the type that enjoys doing hand-on work outdoors, we are always in need of volunteers to help maintain our property grounds, from room set up and take downs to mowing and landscaping.
