1) Tell us a bit about your family (4-5 sentences)
I am married to my best friend, Tracey, and we’ve been married for 18 years. God has blessed us with two sons and two daughters. Rylan was born in 2002, Aleksander was born 2004, Kada was born 2006, and Elianah arrived 2009. It is both mine and Tracey’s passion as parents to pursue the Lord as a connected family that supports one another.
2) What is your favorite coffee drink?
I don’t desecrate great coffee with any foreign substances. The darker the better, if a fork is necessary in order to consume it that makes me smile. Dark roast or bust!
3) What is your favorite vacation spot? (or one you hope to visit!)
As a history geek there a LOT of places I hope to visit, but as far as vacation spot, I’m happy with the back porch of a cabin on a lake in northern Minnesota, or Wisconsin if it comes to that. There’s nothing like being in God’s creation – green vegetation all around, a calm lake that’s like glass with the golf clubs handy.
4) What is your favorite Bible verse or book?
OT – Genesis 15:1 – The word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision; “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”
NT – Matthew 5:16 – Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
5) What brought you to Radiant Church? (4-6 sentences…short story version!)
After receiving the Lord here in January of 1996 as a college student at WSU the Lord called me back as its Lead Pastor in the fall of 2015. It is my privilege to serve this church and the great people who call Radiant Church their home.
